Not sure whether this has been posted before but it's the first I have seen of it.

    Liquid nicotine is illegal

Electronic cigarettes containing liquid nicotine are illegal in Queensland. It is an offence under the Health (Drugs and Poisons) Regulation 1996 (PDF, 1 MB)(HDPR), for a person to manufacture, obtain, possess, prescribe, dispense, sell, advertise, use or destroy nicotine, unless the person is specifically authorised or holds an approval under the HDPR. The maximum penalty is $9,108.

Electronic cigarette containing liquid nicotine can be safely disposed of at a community pharmacy or a local public health unit.

To report the sale or possession of electronic cigarettes containing liquid nicotine, call 13 QGOV (13 74 68).

I'd be thinking 'visit somewhere else instead' - but maybe that's just me..

But if risking it, I'd profess 'No officer, no nicotine in this PV!'. I'll bet the Queensland cops are in no way adamant about prosecuting stuff like this, or even testing liquid to prove it contains nic.

Just chill out and vape on as usual. Nothing is enforced up here.

I wouldn't worry about it. Nic possession has been illegal in some states for a very long time.

Keep in mind if you are ever caught, you decanted the nic from your TGA approved Nicorette inhaler purchased from the supermarket and added it to you chosen non nicotine flavour, pg and vg and put it in your atty.
