    Anyone else concerned with Ni200?

    After watching a video that was posted on VaperJoes.com Vaporjoes.com – Vaping Deals and Steals – SPOTLIGHT: A CASE AGAINST VAPING NICKEL (Ni200) WIRE I am a little worried about vaping with ni200, should I be?

    I pulled out my Ni200 coil in my dripper and rebuilt with kanthal, but I enjoyed vaping with temp control, do I have any other safer options, like Stainless Steel wire?

    I'm using Titanium wire in my TC builds.
    I tried Ni200, didn't like the taste, Ti wire is much cleaner tasting.

    There are health concerns;

    There are taste concerns;

    Basically the three phases I went through with Nickel coils; 1) Concerned, (2) meh, and then, (3) no I'll pass.

    I'll wait until they come out with titanium Nautilus coils before I venture into temperature controlled vaping.

    More devices need to come out with Ti coils, to bring TC into a more mainstream use.
    The problem I have with Nickel wire is similar to what I experience with Nichrome wire & why I soon changed to Kanthal for regular builds.
    Ti is cleaner tasting than even Kanthal wire.
    In my short amount of testing since getting a roll of Ti, I have found that vaping with Ti tastes almost like you are pouring juice directly into your mouth. It is the closest thing to drinking your ejuice, while actually vaping it.

    Ti sounds like an interesting proposition, can I make it work on any temp control device?

    Yes, it depends on what TC mod you use.
    On DNA40 mods you drop the temp about 100f.

    Any TC mod that uses the same measurement of F degrees, for Ni wire, will need about the same 100F reduction.
    If using degrees C, you just apply the calculation to get the corresponding temp in degrees F minus 100F, after conversion.
    If your mod uses joules, rather than degrees, you can still use Ti wire if you want to, just apply the appropriate conversion to degrees F minus 100F to get the joules you need for Ti.
