I have read the interim report and it doesn't as bad as the FDA deeming. What is it you're concerned about there? Is it the possibility to go down the medicalisation pathway expressed in the summation?

Medicalization will destroy vaping and make it it as unappealing and as ineffective as NRT.

Yeah, it would be a pretty awful outcome.

it wouldn't be in its current form though Hoof. You'd probably only be able to buy 6mg Nic base with some gross flavouring premixed in there to make it unattractive to kids to vape, in an ego one type thing.

If it were medicalised I don't think they'd let us choose our own devices, coils, Nic strengths, flavours, PG:VG ratios etc etc. I reckon it would be like the gum - you can get it in two strengths and two flavours and that's it.

Nothing is set in stone there though, seems like they are just leaving things as they are for the moment. Until they decide to start stopping nicotine imports at customs level then nothing changes for us. If you keep a low profile and don't go selling or supplying nicotine I don't see you having too much to worry about.

them poor vapers in queensland though. they got the short end of the stick

1.27 The sale of products resembling a tobacco product is prohibited in
South Australia, Western Australia, New South Wales (NSW) and Queensland.21 In
2014, Queensland further restricted ENDS use by including 'personal vaporisers' in its
definition of a 'smoking product', which applies laws regarding tobacco cigarettes to
ENDS as well. For example, while it is not illegal to possess an ENDS that does not
contain nicotine, it is illegal under the new Queensland legislation to inhale from
    an ENDS

We reached that stage (in prescription nic.) last year.. NICIT Premium eFluid | NICIT

The two strengths are 10 mg & 20 mg. The 2 flavours are mint and 'standard' (unflavoured). If you vape at less than 20 mg, get some standard and use concentrated flavours, you might get up to around 18 mg e-liquid with any flavour you can lay your hands on.

    Of course, it IS expensive.
