    Queensland University study on Vaping

The University of Queensland joint study with the US, Canada and the UK are putting on a survey for Research for Tobacco Harm Reduction. I strongly advise everyone to participate.

Plus, every successful applicant goes in the draw to win a cool $1k.

It's definitely there. I think there are issues if too many people try to use the registration form (bad planning, what?).

    Try again.

It's absolutely, definitely, there. Something must be blocking you from using it. Anti virus, hosts file, something. Try it from a different device.

Mind you I thoroughly enjoyed seeing that clip from 10 News Brisbane even though it took me ages to find it. Now I know what Dr Coral looks like and for the first time in vaping historty a member of the cancer council actually pro vapes.

    The article

New research seeks to discover how vaping can help smokers quit

Are vapers justifiably paranoid when it comes to research on e-Cigarettes? Maybe, since after all it does appear that research is often used as a weapon to promulgate fear and misinformation in the public health war against vaping. How else could more people now believe vaping is as harmful or even more harmful than smoking?

While an onslaught of ominous headlines shapes public opinion, there are scientists behind the scenes working on evidence-based research in an effort to shed new light on issues vital to vaping. A potentially ground-breaking, multimillion-dollar research project funded by the U.S. National Cancer Institute is leading the way.

The University of Waterloo in Ontario Canada and the Medical University of South Carolina in the U.S. are the two lead institutions in the international project focusing on evaluating the efficacy and viability of e-Cigarette regulations. It’s a fascinating study. Learn why for yourself directly from Dr. Geoffrey Fong, chief principal investigator from Waterloo University—only on RegWatch by RegulatorWatch.com.

The caution - This is a US cancer council project and the last time MS Gartner was involved with vaping research she shat all over the trust the vaping community gave her - Since then some people in the vaping community have said that they have spoken to her and claim that she seems nice now ... Personally I dont know but better to be informed before making a decision either way to be part of these kinds of studies especially if they come from dubious sources with dubious histories like cancer councils and people like Ms Gartner...

"Oh, you canít help that," said the Cat: "weíre all mad here. Iím mad. Youíre mad."
"How do you know Iím mad?" said Alice.
