    A little story

Andrea: Hi Tim, how are you? How are you finding your first year of Uni?

Tim: I'm good, thanks. Yeh, it's a little stressful, but I'm getting the hang of it.

Andrea: Excellent. Now Tim, I'm going to show you a short video clip.

    Tim : Ok.

Andrea : Firstly, I understand that you smoke.

    Tim : I do. I'm sorry.

Andrea: So you should be. Can you tell me, on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being "extremely", how much do you crave smoking a cigarette right now?

Tim: Um, ..hmm, I dunno, probably, say... 4?

Andrea: 4, excellent. Ok. Now, here is a clip of a person using a 2nd generation e-cigarette.

    Tim: A what?

    Andrea: Just watch the clip

    Tim: um.. ok.

Andrea: Now, Tim, can you tell me, how much do you crave smoking a cigarette now?

    Tim: Um, about 6?

Andrea: Excellent. Thank You Tim. That is all.

This study shows that passive exposure to a second generation ENDS vape pen cue evoked smoking urge, desire, and behavior across a range of daily and non-daily young adult smokers. Smoking urge and desire increases after vape pen exposure were similar to those produced by exposure to a first generation ENDS cigalike and a combustible cigarette, a known potent cue. Given the increasing popularity of ENDS tank system products, passive exposures to these devices will no doubt increase, and may contribute to tobacco use in young adult smokers.

Show a horny already sexually active teenager a porno and then ask what level he/she feels the need to have sex.....

Ask a rhetorical answer, then publish a study for headlines

Reminds me of a scene from Buffy...

Cordelia: Does looking at guns make you want to have sex?

Xander: I'm 17, looking at linoleum makes me want to have sex.

Meh I wouldnt give psychiatry that much credit ... the only thing they do differently that is outstanding is prescribe meds ... and that opens up a new kettle of fish both socially and otherwise ... the biological stuff is not cut and dried ...

ďBut I donít want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you canít help that," said the Cat: "weíre all mad here. Iím mad. Youíre mad."
"How do you know Iím mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldnít have come here.Ē
