We don't care about the Benefits, We only care about the Harms

Sarah Knapton is the science writer for the Telegraph UK.

This is what she said in a string of tweets to some UK vapers.

This is how the media lies. They filter out information, and inject some of their own to perpetuate their own narrative, or the narrative of those who pay them.

We don't have to, but the point is we should able to unless it can be demonstrated to have a significant negative effect on society, if we want to.

As it is, eating processed meat is shown to be more far more dangerous than vaping. Where's the f#cking Cancer Council on that topic?!?!? Agenda based crap is all it is.

I think it was either last year or the year before the federal treasurer after announcing a price hike on stinkies again, said that 70% of that tax revenue goes to the Cancer Council and other cancer research. The Cancer council is only interested in protecting their own jobs and their source of funding. There is no revenue apart from GST and I am not certain of GST is applicable to processed foods, I rarely buy them, then they generate no revenue for the Govt or the Cancer Council and they do not give a shite. All of this B.S. about Tobacco Harm Rediction etc., etc., is all B.S. when it comes to our bureaucrats they are very guilty of duplicity. They want Tobacco Harm Reduction on one hand, and the revenue generated by Tobacco sales. The recent TGA decision was to protect Govt revenue and all the excuses given by the TGA is just gobbly gook to confuse the public.

It's the old quit or die message.

They don't care if you die. I'm not OK with this.

Everybody dies, good time or long time is our own personal choice.

Living to a ripe old age doesn't interest me in the least, I'd rather go out happy

This applies to everything - bad choice of food / diet, lack or exercise, bad habits etc... not sure what her argument is tbh

Oh, wait, let's model up an ideal human form with zero faults and all strive to mimic that - we'll all be happy then, right?

I'm happy now, with at least fifty faults or more.

I really want to find the original tweet so I can give her a serve...

She's a bankrupt human being. She wants to prevent a small amount of theoretical and possibly imaginary harm, and is OK if millions of smokers suffer for her twisted ideals.
