I do wish they would add more submissions, 2 weeks and nothing since the first 20.

It may be because people aren't putting in submissions
It would be a great shame if Vapers don't tell politicians they want vaping legal in Australia

I have been in touch with Tim, by email and this is what he writes:

All submissions must be processed and authorised for publication by the Committee.
Once submissions have been processed and authorised they are uploaded to the website.

    Kind Regards,
    Tim

Yes, um well, having been on a few committees myself and having chaired some, I can understand the speed that some committee members work not only government ones.
Government departments be they state or federal are not known for their speed in processing any paperwork be they hard copy or digital. I once had a renovation approval submitted to council take over 18 months and yes eventually approved. What the time frame of this inquiry, apart from the closing date for submissions, is no one knows. i.e., when the report is due to be completed and by what date the decision made.

The longer they procrastinate the more revenue flows into the treasury and more smokers die.

Gawd doing that submission was like making a will, very intense. I thought I did a great job until my missus corrected all my grammar mistakes & made it half the size:-)

I'm wondering about external references to studies etc with no link or footnotes.

The only one up, in browsing that mentions studies is screenshot below. The rest make no mention.

I have emailed secretariat. But people need to remember that even saying 95% safer needs a link or correct references like a footnote. Or just keep it purely your own experience

I may be wrong. Hopefully I hear back in the morning

Edit. Removed screenshot. See the dr one on website with appropriate references linked

I agree Dan, if you must reference something an active link or footnote is a must ...

"processed and authorised for publication" hmm...

Is it possible that the submissions authorised for publication were provided as examples?

The final submission numbers might be considered pertinent and may only be made public once the report has been finalised.

I suppose only time will tell...

I made ref to be healthier and including link to the RCP paper. It's the only doc I linked, majority is my story and also frustrations with state governments blindly banning.
