For what it is, I actually think that went quite well.

They will listen to chumpy's roundabout of rot. But when they go off to dispassionately review, and cross-reference the information, one can only hope they see his argument is Swiss cheese, with a definite hint of blue vein.

I must say..there was a couple of times I held my breath. Then they expanded with great gusto and fixed it.

The committee did seem to ask some good questions that allowed them to give a good response...especially to nicotine levels etc. and the TPG. I was worried for Dr. Danko on a couple of occasions as to the law.

I hope they grill the ANTZ as hard or harder, rather than just take their drivel at face value. Out of interest I think I actually will check my blood pressure when they speak. If the physiological reactions are anything to go by, it might be significant data.

For some reason, the AMA opinion is always used as a stick to beat the opposition with at any hearing related to any medical matter as truth set in concrete-

    every-single-time.

To quote Dr David Caldicott, addiction specialist from Canberra..

    Quote
"With great respect to the AMA, the AMA is not an expert body of forensic people or neuro phsycologists or addiction specialists, they are a Trade Union. They are there to stand up for us but they dont represent an expert opinion.its an opinion and may be an important one but it's an opinion."

And it's always sought, whether the AMA is expert on the particular subject or not.

I wonder if that's all of them?

No. It was on 108 a week before it closed, and plenty of us put in submissions in the last day or two. Margy had me going for a minute with the "467 submissions" LOL

I have no idea why they would be having trouble with an autofil form. I guess it must be something that takes the submission and submitters details and publishes the submissions. Heaven forbid they should do it manually...
