Canada S5 - Some common sense from Canada's tobacco control

One of the oldest tobacco control groups, the Non-Smokers’ Rights Association, has come out in support of vaping and did propose changes to Canada's Bill S5 during the hearings.

I can't help but think that the message is starting to get through. The changes were accepted into S5, which means that advertising will be allowed, along with relative risk comparisons with tobacco.

At first they may only be able to say things like "no tar" "no combustion" etc but this will be widened based on impartial scientific evidence.

That is far, far better than what was originally proposed in S5, which was a complete ban on making any comparison to the health risks of combustibles.

A smoke free group in support of vaping that is a great development.
As a vaper do do support the notion of there being Vaping areas and Vape free areas in pubs/clubs/work places ETC.
