Life is about choices. Some we regret, some we’re proud of. Some will haunt us forever. The message: we are what we chose to be.

Hi Jake. I didn't listen to it because I feared it would rehash the usual misinformation.
I think that a longer format TV discussion like SBS's Insight would allow for a better overview and allow alternative opinions to be aired.

1 expert for, 1 expert against ... no wonder journalists and pollies are confused

Note to journalists: vaping itself isn't illegal in Australia, only vaping (without a prescription) with nicotine is

The guy against vaping said "we'll have to see what happens over the next 10 years" when referring to the uncertainty about the effects of vaping on vapers in countries that have legalised vaping.

Well, in regards to actual certainty, the forecast concerning the ban on vaping in Australia.. It involves 150,000 coffins.

Interesting that 'rule' never seems to apply when rushing drugs onto the market.

Or even worse, off-label use. Nobody seems to have a problem with that.

Govt = liking tax - tax to send a packet of cigarettes up to $40 per packet by 2020 (its nice money) also trying to meet with whos unreasonable recommendations and noticing benefits to social control through health (It has been done quite well before after all)

but tobacco control are naive or stupid or being held by pharma funding -thinking that they will ban cigarettes not long after this happens - meanwhile rushing more and more crushing (but familiar) legislation recommendations through so that nothing gets in its way -

meanwhile unusually - there does not appear to be any other indicators of the success of tobacco control where smokers are concerned other then quitting smoking (convenient huh?) Oddly too not much discussion is about talking about why we need so many healthy people and why they need to be coerced other than taxpayers and chidren- who happily think they are being cared about

Black market has other ideas and thanks to other do gooding agendas the market is underestimated

Private and corporate market looks at profit to be made from more policing/ border control, prisons, illegal tobacco, pharma products, creating criminals out of those who use alternative means to quit and those that supply the means, through controlling markets and more...

and so the circle of life goes round ... no surprises - its been done more or less before

Oh and like before - this stupidity only needs around %10 of the population to agree to it - go figure

NNA AU and general vape advocacy in Australia summed up-
There is nothing to see here- it has nothing to do with you or vapers - Its not your business...
