    Very cool.

I'm wondering how long before our benevolent masters decide to tax vaping.

Of course it's gonna be interesting what they could use to justify taxing it ... given that we can't buy liquid with nicotine in it, therefore whatever justification they have for taxing tobacco products (aside for a hunger for a shitload of money) won't apply.

I'm sure the maggots will find an excuse though.

That's what irks me, because it has nicotine in it doesn't make it tobacco. Tobacco is a plant for gods sake!
It's like saying a woman is a tsunami because she has peaks and troughs! *smirk*

While this is true, nicotine replacement isn't exactly 'cost effective' itself. I mean the price of a packet of nicorettes is ridiculous. In Australia, should nicotine become legal to purchase, the government WILL slap a hefty tax on it because they view it as a luxury that is not REQUIRED to live.

I am sure that the red queen and her brainless cronies don't want people to quit smoking because our lungs are taring the roads and fattening their children (or in Gillard's case, her fembot 'partner') with the tax we pay.

I actually feel for the older generation. Those who started smoking when it was recommended by doctors to alleviate stress, and when they were issued during the various wars 1939-1975. Now the poor old buggers have to spend 2/3 or their pension to maintain their habit...
    Not responsible.... Ever.

I agree wither everything you said, my point was that nicotine /= tobacco just because tobacco contains it :-) seems to be a common misnomer with our legislative overlords.

I'm going to Switzerland next month. I hope I find a juice sampling stand somewhere.
