    What i dont get, is that in the same breath that they say they are safer, they say that they are "unapproved" and their distribution would be an offence, yet there are certain types of "approved" e-cigs such as the ruyan available in pharmacies. They also mention nothing about personal importation being legal.

    So while they say they are safer they aren't actually disclosing the fact that people can obtain them and use them....

    It's good to see the NZ health authorities having a bit more sense over this than ours does. At the very least, if they become OTC over there, then Australia has a habit of following to keep our medical stuff inline with each other.
