Forgive the ignorance but why is the low resistance better/worse than the standard ones?

Got my cartos - loving them.

I have been doing a lot of research on the low resistance atomizers and they all say that it reduces the life of your batteries and atomizer.
Does anyone really have an answer as to is it better or worse then the standard atomizers. If the vaping is really good and.........if it comes at the cost of reducing
the life of your batteries, then I really dont see a need for it or dose it not reduce the life of your batteries.
    Anyone have a proper explanation???

    Voltage(E) = Current(I) x Resistance(R)
    Changed around: I = E/R
As an example: 10volts and 5 ohm resistance yields a 2amp current.
but: 10volts and 2 amp resistance yields a 5 amp current.
    (E)10 / (R)2 = (I)5
As you can see, the lower resistance draws a higher current.
    Power (P)(Watts) = E x I
So in this example: 5 ohms yields 20watts and 2 ohms yields 50watts.
    Quite a difference!

The higher the Watts, the greater the heat. (like a heater)
But if more current is drawn it depletes the battery quicker. This means more recharges are required for a given time period. More charges = shorter life (in time not total current, although that is arguable)
As for atty life: Lower resistance usually means more robust wire but it also means more heat, so swings and roundabouts really.

LR atty = cheap way to feel the vape of a 5V HV mod. and thats the way i see it :P should go well with my ego (that still in mid transit!)
