For anyone else that wants to check and be notified of anything in the future you can subscribe here https://haveibeenpwned.com/notifyme

Honestly though, I think anyone who uses the same passwords for internet banking, Paypal etc as they do on forums or for general internet use is mad.

    Umm...

Only an Adobe hack got my email I use here. And almost everywhere else.

I get more spam from 'legit' sites I've used to order stuff in than I've got from nefarious locations.

So if here was hacked, I wasn't part of it. If I was, what are they going to do, sign me up for something that will be automatically weeded out by the spam filters?

No, not mad. Asking for it, whatever 'it' might be.

I can't remember half the passwords I use for forums and general crappery. The important ones I can't remember because they're long, a mess of letters, numbers and symbols and the only way I can pull them out is mnemonically.

    "Frankisafish" is a forum password.

    "Fester56is7a&froG" is a shopping password.

    "Tx4&*sEg8HnI3oY!" is a banking password.

Do that, and change the important ones frequently "because that's what you do" and you'll never stress over these 'breaches' again.

And don't use these passwords. They're now compromised. Sorry if your fish is named Frank or your frog is named Fester.
