Neither will work without an adapter in Aus...

    Edit: oh... Voltage not plug.
Euro is 240 volts, US is 120.

If the charger's input voltage is suitable for Australia, all you need is this: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2-pins-Au...item4cfab7b240 or similar

Or if it's the US 2 flat blade plug type all you need are these:

Just twist the pins from | | to / \ to suit the Aus plug shape. But make sure the plugpack supports 110v through 240v or you'll blow yourself up

    Cheers,

    Arkay.

Thanks for the replies guys, but i'm no closer to knowing what to do. Just trying to find out which plug type will fit in an Australian-bought universal adaptor .... US plug or Euro plug? (haven't purchased adaptor yet but plan to from DSmith). Am placing an order with Greenhouse for start-up equip & supplies ... and i have to choose from these two plug types before i can order.

A universal adaptor is equipt with several types of connections, I recently got a charger from the US and bought my adaptor from dicksmiths and it's fine, so in saying that go the US just to be sure.
