    Normal kanthal is fine

    Just lengths of wire is fine also as I like to change resistance depending on what atty

    The last lot of wire I got was a 10ft spool and has lasted me 5 years
    So 2 metres maybe

    All depends on cost I suppose

    I'm setting up my new claptoning sled tomorrow and I'll whip this up for you then. PM me your address and I'll send it out on Monday using regular mail. No cost but I'd appreciate some feedback regarding the wire.

    No cost because in my coil making, claptoning single cores is the easy part (it gets progressively harder with double and triple cores. In my experience, it's the winding which eats up more time.

    Nothing really much to see. It's just a plank of wood with a drill fixed to one end and a positionable swivel stand at the other end. I waxed the plank so the claptoning jig slides without much effort. I went to the trouble of setting up a high speed motor to act as the drill replacement but it doesn't work as well as a real drill.
