   If you’re looking for dual core claptons then 28*2 gives about the same resistance as 26G. Disregard the wrapping wire in terms of resistance. Going for 0.5 to 1.0 is a wide margin for error.

    Maybe look at the resistance of each and try to match it per length, I can't remember if it's rated by the cm or what but if you match it that way you can use the same amount of wraps.
