    Battery advice

I need some help from the electronically minded.

I'm planning a new mod but I have very little knowledge of the types of batteries that are possible. I'd like to have at least 1600-1800mah capacity in the most compact form I can. My knowledge of the possible batteries is limited to what I find on vape sites. I'm sure there must be other options but I don't know where to start or what is safe to use. It doesn't need to be removable as I plan to have either a usb or ego style charging setup.

Thanks in advance for any advice

I should have mentioned..... It's not going to me a mechanical mod. Most likely Vamo powered.

Sanyo's UR18500F is about as small as I can think of for 1600mAh or so in cylindrical form

Cheers SS. Doesn't really have to be cylindrical. I'm guessing that the 18500 is roughly 50mm long? Short and fat is fine. It's for a pipe.

yeah, 50mm. Can't think of a more suitable form factor though unless you go to prismatic types but to get an idea of size, the samsung galaxy S3 battery is about 1700mAh to 4.35V

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the max capacity of an 18350 was 700-800 mah and anything labeled higher than that was incorrect. My understanding of battery technology is not one of my strengths so maybe I'm wrong.
