Question AGI rba dripping/ tank - what consumables ?

Ok so I am about to order an AGI rba - what is the best gauge silica / mesh / kenthal to order ? I want to try both the silica and the mesh , this will be my first rba but I'm not too deterred . I will be using it on a pro vari not a mechanical so sub ohm isn't an option - is there a how to thread on rba's ?

Just so you know AGI doesn't perform well out of the box. The issue is with its spring connector, you will find more info about it online

I use the connector pin from my used carto and now it performs great and looks great.

I use 32g wire 3/4 wrap to get 1.4 to 1.5 ohm on it and 400# mesh

I haven't really tried drip option as i hate silica so can't really comment on it but there are few videos how to set up dripping atty online and it should be the same

It's great though I had leaking issue with it, had to replace the plastic crop they use with silicone from aga and i don't have leak issue anymore. The airhole is pretty tight too you might want to drill it little bigger

These are issues with Chinese stuff but for 1/10th of the price and little bit of tweak you can make it great

the rsst or the agat2 would be a better choice for a first time rebuildable

Have seen some great reviews on the rsst , is silica the best choice for beginners ? What size would I need - 2.5 mm ? What gauge wire ? I want to achieve 1.5 to 2 ohm - sorry about the many questions , is there a thread ?

Silica best choice as you don't worry about short. To get 1.5 get 32g wire and have 4 wraps (really depend on your wick thickness) but just a guideline really. Find info on drill bit method so you can check your resistance with or without wick if you want to go down ss mesh path
