    Lightbulb ego/510 style ohm/voltmeter

so after reading some recent posts and wanting an easy way to check the remaining voltage in my ego cells and also an ohm meter for my coils.

I decided to pull apart an old vision clearomiser and turn the base into a voltmeter connector for my ego cells I have also ordered a connector from Ecig-sa

I will fit hopefully Monday when it arrives to test resistance in my coils and it will be fitted next to the voltmeter connection

enjoy the pics and my messy work and would love to hear your feedback and thoughts

    Looking really good.

I hope you didn't drop the little ball for the rotary switch?? I did and it took me an age to recover it. Nice job

This is another set up I made. Probably easier the pulling the multimeter down. Problem with this is you need two atty connectors for the battery adapter. Works well all the same.

Cool idea. Might have to go pick up a cheap multimeter to try this out.

I couldn't tell you a model number I got it from jaycar and it's not the best one in the world to be honest but it gets the job done and the the magnifier is nice and big as you noticed I only got it as it was the only one they had at the time

edit: this is the one I have http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=TH1983

Is there any way to calibrate these cheap multimeters? My one reads a standing 0.8-0.9 ohm resistance when just touching the probes?
