    Blow my wick please

Did the title get you here, lol.

    Ok here is my question.

Is there a way to oxidize a mesh wick without owning a blow torch?

    Any ideas?

I use a cigarette lighter but if you wanted to get really into it you could buy a blow torch lighter.

    Don't oxidize it. Pulse it.

So what just wrap the coil and then pulse many times to oxidize?

Yep wrap it then do really short pulses. At the start it will only be red at the top. The more you pulse. In short spurts. The red will travel down the coil and the coil will oxidize the mesh for you.

Pour petrol over it, set it alight & wait until it stops glowing*, that should work.
Or you can drip some juice onto it & set the juice alight it isn't exactly oxidising but it will leave a carbon deposit, which helps insulate the wick from the coil.

    * Do not try this at home & do not vape with it afterwards if you do.
