Really interesting article on Amps to Vape

    Found this while net surfing.
Some really good points and room for thought.

Correct me if I'm wrong but….

The guy that wrote the article seems to have focused on the output side of the chip. The higher voltage and ohms does indeed result in less amps - but only on the output side of the chip. For the chip to supply the higher voltage on the output side it needs to draw more amps on the input side. 30 watts requires 7.5 amps at 4 volts. This is what is being drawn from the battery regardless of the ohms and volts on the output side. He does not seem to take this into consideration at all.

Building higher ohm coils on a regulated device will not increase the battery run time - it just makes the chip work harder to increase the voltage, resulting in higher chip temps and increased inefficiency.

The poor deluded fellow seems to think the chip magically increases the voltage with less amp draw on the battery. What a noob.

Sorry my rant is over now.

    Happy Vaping.
