So now that I am back. I made a new little adapter from a cutdown driptip that fits inside the carto tube and holds snugly to the coil head. After vaping with it for a couple of days I can take the top cap off without moving the coil head connection. Result no flooding

It does displace some Eliquid but is very easy to refill.

    Finally all put together

I mucked around with some bits and pieces the other day to see if I could come up with a solution. I had to stop myself a number of times from taking it to work and just turning some bits up on the lathe.

I have found that the 510-510 adapters that I have don't really have enough thread depth but with the seal taken of the coil head I could get them to hold.

Here is the working adapter wiich I have run in a tank with no problems.......................................... ...well one small problem. I used a standard aspire coil head while I was mucking about trying different things and only to find out after I got it all working that the BVC coil heads are just different enough for them not to fit my contraption. I think it still can be done with the bits I used but I will have to attack the 510-510 adapter with a drill which means it is no longer just made up of bits and pieces.

I have posted big pics so you hopefully can see what I have done.

The tube is a 510 atomizer with the end removed ( not cut ). The seal thing is a cut down seal of that coil unit in the pic ( vision I think ). The 510-510 adapter has had a different pin put in it but I cant remember what it was out of atm.

    Cheers

After I wrote the last post I remembered I bought a couple more 510 adapters from a different store.

And the coil heads screw in no problems. The pin will need shorting a bit but at the moment the main thing is it works.

1.6 ohm BVC Coil head in a carto tank just using old bits and pieces.

I have one of those vision or kanga coil heads somewhere so I can have a play later on. Nice thought process.

This idea work really well in standard tanks and the flavour is excellent. I just love the different options.
