    DIY Billet Bridge - update

So the original DIY billet bridge worked but had some instability at the connection point of the metal tube and the top of the aspire coil. I used it for a while but was always cautious about it flooding.

The major problem was finding a way to lock the tube down into the top of the coil head. Then I had a breakthrough. My elegance tanks lock the tube down. Its brilliant. No fear of separation. I will update with another pic once hubby can get back into the shed and shorten the tube a couple of mm"s. I will also make some other sizes to fit the Bella and long tubes. Refilling can be a bit messy if the Eliquid level is above the top of the coil head but the Eliquid intake holes are at the bottom of the tank so it can be used all the way to almost empty without dry hits.

The small black line is the delrin adapter that GTadmin made for me.
So now I have the love of my vaping life working with aspire BVC coils It doesn't help anyone without this type of tank but I am very happy.

Second one. But the first would work as well.

Need to tee up Mr GT for the adapters. It would actually work with the little white carto grommet but not as firm a connection may have some vacuum release.

In practice, does it stabilise the carto tube better? And is that 2nd diameter correct? PS Ignore all the other white noise ... I am

Makes you feel as though it's more secure but the way the tank is, it is not a problem anymore. You do need a collar or tight o-rings on the base as slippage through the bottom will make it fail.

The diameter is slightly looser than the first but has less of an impact. The increased hole is also taken out of the picture because you put the white grommet in the top of the tube inside the tip.

I was just sharing a pm with someone this arvo, wondering whether Chris could get any smarter this year.
    Appears she can.
