    Common coil sizes "diameter"?

Just wanting to know 4 of the most common coil sizes?
I saw the co'op for the kuro koiler and an think it's an awesome tool..
I have full access to a lathe and mill, so being a tight arse I found myself a length of 16mm solid aloy rod and some 4mm stainless and going to make an improved version of it.
I ripped up a drawing of the pair (double ended) last night and being pretty new to rebuildables wasn't really sure of the "most common" sizes to make?
The kuro has 2, 2.5 and 3mm.. Dose that cover most of what is needed?
Il try and post a pic of the final design if there's any interest.
    Cheers in advance

Very nice idea mate. The sizes you mentioned would be fine, I would consider a 1.5 as well.
    Would be interested for sure.
I am a welder/metal worker by trade and very much interested in the specifics.
If you like, I could send you one of the Kuro jigs, I am getting 1 with the coop.....but I doubt you would need it since your idea is to improve it, which I also find very intriguing.....do tell.

I don't know what size my coils are but I think they are about 1.5mm (about toothpick size) so I thought the Kuro sizes of 2,2.5, & 3 to look more on the big side.

Cheers CCVaper for the info and offer! no need for a jig on this build tho mate, shes a wing'it and see project lol.
    My interpretation of "improvements" are:
Shortened design utilizing both ends. ive dropped the idea of 2 handles and just going to make 4 topcaps and pins.
Interchangeable SS pins all turned down from a common 3mm base.
Knurled sections on top caps for better grip.
and now thanks to Rob and GT an added toothpick dispensary

no ultra fine detail of yet but will update as this project progresses.Winder 1.JPG

I like the simple nature of the tool, a challenge and I have little to no patients

A lot of the vertical coil designs use 1.5mm dia
