Rebuilding kanger subtank mini occ coils with nickel

So tonight I decided to try rebuilding a occ coil with nickel the results are amazing there better than a pre built nickel coil hands down . Massive flavour , higher wattage vape and steady temps .

    Items needed

    An old occ coil head

Vapowire 30g pure nickel .... 5 or so inches to work with

Kanger organic cotton cut into approx 6mm wide strip

3mm drill bit fits perfectly through the juice holes in the occ head

    Clippers

    Scissors

Look up rip trippers occ rebuild video on YouTube to see the technique

Use a 6 wrap coil which comes out around 0.18 once broken in

Be patient take your time and u will have a 100% cloud and flavour monster that's rock solid on an rdna device for a lot less money than the prebuilt heads !

    Good luck !

Can't wait to give this a go with my Nano, been rebuilding EVOD and T3s heads long enough.

*Just spent 20 mins on the floor looking for the grain of sand sized ball bearing that likes to fall out of the air flow controller though! :O

I've just received some 28g nickel and was about to rebuild my rba until I stood on it...
    So...
Now I'm going to try it on the OCC coils and see how i go. Is there a calculator I can use to work out my wraps for this? I was just going to straight copy a standard nickel coil I have but im not sure if I have the same gauge.
