3D printed DNA 250 squonk mod

I've decided that my ideal mod would be a DNA 167/250 and I'm looking for the smallest size possible. I'm thinking of getting these but am looking for someone with good soldering skills as I've never been good at it. I decided to go with a LiPo pack because I've had good experience with my Vaporshark DNA 200 with a 950mah battery. Fast 2 mah charging with the DNA 250 board means a full charge from empty to full will take 90 minutes. I'm okay with that against the increased bulk if I use a dual 18650 sled.

It's a hell of a lot more than I paid for my Lost Vape Drone BF but I'm dissatisfied by the bulk and weight of the Drone. Not sure yet if I'm going ahead with this, if I can't find a good solderer I won't risk using my own hopeless soldering skills.

    Finished mod size: 30x66x102mm

14, 16, 24 gauge I think. No idea about the pads but here's a pic.

Not too hard mate. What sort of solder are you wanting to use? Lead free I'm assuming. Or silver solder on the 510?

Can you PM me on how much you think you're going to charge?

I would like to 3D print it myself to make it smaller and cheaper as the cost of the 3D printed parts are over $100 (excluding shipping). Is 3D printing really that expensive? Although I am in IT, I have absolutely no experience on 3D design and printing.

Ah, the cappy bottle. At an exorbitant US$28 each, no thanks. It's made of silicone plastic, not gold. And it's more than the cost of a Pico Squeeze hehehe. I've got lots of those FT bottles and I'm going to use all of them up before even thinking about the cappies.

Incidentally, I showed the calculation table to my wife and she vetoed the project when she got to the total, hehe. So, I have to wait until tax refund time..... I can always dream, can't I?

Charge... For what soldering? I don't want any money. I just like doing projects. Plus I wanted to get some ideas for my design lol.

I got an evic squonker printed recently with designs from thingiverse and that cost me close to $50. Difference is you're buying direct from the designer so I guess there's added price there.
As far as making it smaller, height could be lowered by 15-20mm since the battery you're using is shorter but that might b about it.

Haha i know they're ridiculous prices. Just figured if u were spending that much anyway may as well go all out.

Hmm yes the missus, had a similar confrontation the other day when I wanted to buy a 3d printer. And that's alot more than $250

Gurishka and Evstratos, thank you for your kind offers.

As of now, the project is on hold. I might change it from DNA to an Evic/Wismec board as I have good experiences with those mods as long as I install ArcticFox software with them. But that would entail using a different box design. I also am going to send my Vaporshark for an upgrade to a DNA 250 board and they've agreed to send back my DNA 200 so I might use that. Problem with that approach is that the VS screen is at the bottom.

Yes, on hold but I'll push through in the future.
