My noisy cricket v2 would just randomly switch from variable voltage to series mode at times and I would get a shock ! Eventually it was just stuck permanently in series mode. Now I use it in parallel mode and no issues. if I want vv I just use my beat up old tesla invader 3 , goddamn that thing is built like a tank and can hit hard

realllly?? automatically switches? I've read people have issues with the button sticking etc but your situation is first ive heard.

I also considered the telsa invader 3. but I love how the cricketv2 is so versatile!

I just use mine as a series mech, which was zachary the same way I received it, as a PIF from the wonderful DogMan.

I wanted it as a series mech, it is set up as a series mech, it works perfectly as a series mech. I love it.
