Silicone bottle for Hcigar VT Inbox

I got this silicone bottle from FT. I really like how soft it is and I am using it for my SVA clone and Drone BF squonkers. We all know how unsatisfactorily a plastic bottle is for squonking so I also wanted to use it for my VT Inbox but as we all know, the Inbox has a fixed tube. The silicone bottle's mouth is about 1.5 mm too wide to latch into the VT Inbox so I'm sharing how I hacked this bottle to fit into the Inbox.

    1. You will need the silicone bottle and an original Inbox bottle.

    2. Cut off the top part of the original Inbox bottle.

    3. This is the part you need.

    4. The cut-off willl fit securely into the mouth of the silicone bottle.

    5. Here it is fitted all the way.

    6. Here it is fitted into my VT Inbox.

    7. Another angle of it inside the Inbox, I know it looks crooked but that is the fault of the lighting.

    8. With the panel on. I cut off some abalone veneers and stuck it on. First attempt, I have to redo it as I want to remove those ugly bits before I coat it with resin. (Thank Chris for the instructions!)

I've been using it for a month now and am happy to report no leakage issues.

However, after a few refills, I got frustrated at the difficulty of removing and threading the bottle as the silicone bottle is too soft to get a purchase on. I needed a tweezer to fit the mouth back on the mod. But since I'm now using these dropper bottles, refilling isn't an issue anymore.

Good work Jobics. I've found the resin cushions around the squonk hole which seems to hide some dodgy cutting but if you can get better cuts you may as well. All my cuts look like the one in your photo:-)
Edit. Just had another look at your photo & my cuts are worse:-)
