    Yes here are relevant photos of how to clean the switch area:

    1 make a cleaning brush







    Using thin nose pliers lessen the top nut of the switch

    Remove the switch assembly



    Insert the wire brush in the pin hole



    Twist the wire between your fingers to clean the connector surface inside the pipe



    place the button assembly back in to the pipe and tighten the top nut

    Like Kev said - itís pretty straight forward, but hereís some pix anyway...

    Measure carefully - cut off so itís a mm or two too long

    Filed down to length - I fitted for length as I went. I chamfered off the edge to avoid stray filings.

    Screw the mushroom on tightly - wouldnít want it rattle off..

    I found it easier to insert upside down while I was offering it up for length.
