    Talking Tank for my Bamboo

Recently I purchased some items from HC,and I included in the order a Smokteck Vivi Tank rebuildable clearomiser for 1 cent...
I thought this would go ok on my Bamboo but when I screw it on you can not draw in..ie no airflow..??
Can anyone here that is experienced please advise what a good ( looking and vaping ) tank would work on the Bamboo ??
I was thinking of purchasing a 3mm ss Liquinator but being fairly new to all this not sure if it will work ok..
    My Bamboo is ss..
Thanks for any advise, and if anyone is chasing a rebuildabe Smokteck Vivi one is going real cheap

A standard vision vivi nova, You could get a f16 boge tank to try cartos tanks out before u shell out for a liquinator. theres the kanger protank, i'clear 30, vapeonly BCC

1c for the Smokteck Vivi Tank rebuildable is too much, IMO.
The issue with draw is that the air flows through 1/2 holes in the 510 connector. When you screw it down on the bamboo, the base of the
    Smokteck Vivi Tank rebuildable meets flush with the Bamboo top, thus restricting air flow. You could try;

    • unscrewing the Smokteck Vivi Tank a little bit to let air in, but be careful you still make electrical contact on the centre pin.
    • throw it out and get anything else
    • Get an airflow controller that fits between the Bamboo and the Vivi, or
    • Add another connector between the Bamboo and the Vivi to let air in, such as a 510 to 501, or 510 to eGo adaptor.
There's a bunch of ways to fix this, we'd probably be able to give more precise advise if you posted a pic of the exact items.
    Oh, I don't like the
Smokteck Vivi Tank rebuildable much, and I think spending any time or money to make it work is wasted. Try Izmali's suggestions, cheap, works well and not poo.

Thanks for your quick replies izmali and MrGruffy
Now I know what will work ( just using normal clearos now )
MrGruffy thanks for the heads up re Smoktech Rebuildable....will throw it.. was going to give it away for price of postage
I will venture forward some more with a F16 Boge for now..
    Appreciated

Hey, with all this vaping stuff, what works for me may not work for you, and all combinations thereof.
Try the thing if you can before hoicking it.
The F16 and tanks are quite cheap though, very little risk/$ to try.

I a dedicated user of vivi-nova tanks, I have like 10 of them, I use them for all my citrus juices with a metal tank, I purchased some from Fasttech and well they had zero air draw on them once I screwed them to the base of a vamo/ego's etc, so I redrilled the tiny air-hole at the base and now they work perfectly, What I'm thinking is that they aren't being fully milled in the factory or some debris wasn't drilled all the way out. You also might want to look at that.

Look in either of these two places for the air holes.
Based on your symptoms, I'd look for Option 2, that is 1 or (more commonly 2) 1mm ish holes on the un threaded section of the 510 connector.

That's your issue, I would drill a 1 mm hole at option 2 where MrGruffy pointed out, near the top of the base of the 510 treads.
