What is missed or not missed about your old friend the analog?

A bit of context here; I've been vaping on and off for a couple of years, but now identify as a non-smoker rather than someone who doesn't smoke. Semantics maybe, but I have now been off the analogs for longer than I have ever been since I started.
That being said I've had a bit of time to think about stuff and decided to put a list down, would love to hear any thoughts you guys have re what you miss or don't.

    The things I don't miss:

    • Cigarette burns on the car seat.
    • Getting ash in my eye on a windy day.
    • Getting smoke straight in my eye.
    • People scabbing smokes.
    • Every third person offering me some chewing gum.
    • $21.00 for a pack of 25's
    • Hangovers exacerbated by smashing 50 smokes during the drinking session.
    • The awesome morning cough made so much whose by the steam in the shower.

    The things I miss:

    • I could have lived the rest of my life not knowing anything about Ohm's law.
    • The instant rapor building of two pariahs on a smoke break.
    • The rebellious streak of being 'a smoker'
    • A cigarette case and fancy lighter was the only way you could one up your fellow smoker.
    • Conversations ended at 'what do you smoke' not how and what mix and why

    The things I don't miss:

    • The smell.
    • The cost.
    • The stigma.
    • People scabbing smokes.
    • Running out at inappropriate times.
    • Deciding whether to spend my last $20 on food or ciggies.
    • Headaches.
    • Breathlessness.
    • 5-7 mins to get a hit.
    • Empty lighters.
    • Burns in furniture.
    • My butt bin blowing over and depositing 100's of butts everywhere.
    • Ashtray fires.

    The things I don't miss
    Constant smokers cough
Worrying about stinking like an ashtray (now I can smell it on others, I know I did)
    the cost!
Finding somewhere to put my cigarette butt if I was out
Smelly ash tray (actually still have that as my fiance smokes but at least its not mine)
Worrying about starting a fire in the summer

    Things I miss
Noone ever asked me "whats that" when I smoked in public but thats about it.

    .

    Lol. Fantastic.

watching the 'do-gooders' pour a bottle of mount franklin over a burning public ashtray. Then watching the cleaners try to empty said ashtray. The water compresses the ash and doesn't come out... Thereby leaving less and less room in the ashtray each time..making the the ashtray fire start sooner... Fun to watch.

I miss being able to pick an analogue up and it just working. Sometimes you have days with PVs where everything is leaking or burning or just not functioning as it should and it drives me nuts!

Ha ha. That got me thinking about looking for somewhere to have a smoke. Finding the one ashtray in a 300 metre radius, taking my first puff and a mother with a pram walks up to that one isolated spot and then stares at you. *arrrrggghhh*

On the flip side, grabbing the last smoke you had in your pocket, snapping it in half while pulling it out and desperately trying to light it off the heating coil on a toaster because your lighter stopped working.. Then trying to hold it in a way that you cover the breakpoint to the smoke doesn't disappear out the sides....

Or.. Grabbing your last smoke, throwing it confidently in your mouth and sparking up to realise you just lit the butt.

The time before last, that's exactly what happened : ( I'll never forget how horrible that was. Kind of set the tone for how it was all going to pan out LOL
