    Clearomiser weirdness

God knows how or why, but when I went to sleep last night my clearmoniser was transparent. This morning when I woke up it was an opaque charcoal colour. Nothing else has changed and its working fine.
It wasn't attached to a battery overnight.
Any ideas? have I done something wrong?
    cheers - doc

you must have juice in it thats reacting with the plastic. Will start to crack soon.

Some flavours react with plastic tanks and will cause them to cloud and crack. Strong cinnamon and citrus flavours will do that.

Well no cinnamon or citrus flavours, but it may be that I've topped it up with a few different juices over the last few days and perhaps something in one of them has reacted with something in another.
OR maybe it was just Pipesub's "Dog's Bollocks" blend Hahaha.
Thanks for your input - doc

Some strong menthols also have that effect.

Shhhhh - they'll all want some now.
Actually, did you load it up with that Krytec juice? Clove may cause that problem but I'm not sure.

    From your link:
    Any sour flavours
Any flavours that contain malic acid.
Any e-liquids that contain essential oils
E-liquids that contain triacetin, used in vg liquids to carry flavour more effectively
Cinnamon like "atomic cinnamon" types, not warm cinnamon like cinnamon coffee cake, this is OK
    Wintergreen juice or flavouring
    Mimosa
    Cola
    Nutmeg
    Clove oil
    Sassafras

The DBs that Doc spoke of was just dredges of standard commercial tobacco flavours none of which bothered the plastic tanks I previously used them in. I reckon it was the JW clove that did it.

D'oh!! relax everyone. When I got my new kit, I gave Pipesub 2 new clearomisers and kept 2 that we'd been using. As it turns out, Pipesub's ones were completely clear, but our new ones were slightly tinted. On exploration this afternoon I found that the unwrapped one was the same colour and that I'd been using one of the new ones and one of Pipesub's . Bottom line: no issue after all. (wah Waaaa - noise of trombone doing that).
Thanks for your replies anyway, and if you wanna hassle Pipesub, his Dogs' Bollocks is very cool (and he don't even have a mutt haha)
    cheers - doc
