    A Newbie Progressing Along

So, I've passed forward my V2 kit to friends, one who uses them and loves them and another who really HAS to give up tobacco (COPD) - but, isn't interested in messing around with buying juice and re-filling.

So, I now have 2 Kanger Evod batts and clearomisers, in purple (my favourite colour). I'm impressed with the Evod clearomisers. I've already had one in my golf bag and had the wind blow the whole bag and buggy over - no leaks - yay! These are pretty good, easy to fill, easy to change the bottom coil, don't leak.

I ordered my first juice from Mt Baker Vapour, I chose, 555, 555 with menthol and Teaberry - on the basis of reviews. I love 555, it's like inhaling chocolate and caramel. I loved 555 with menthol, but that's kind of wearing a bit thin, not sure why. As these were the first juices I had that contained nic, I got into them straight away (they had 'rested' for 8 days in transit) , a week on, the 555 is already tasting nicer. The Teaberry, I fear, is beyond redemption - I've just had a sniff, and it does seem to have tamed down a bit, but I'm not sure that I want to go through the amount of cleaning I've got to do, to get it's perfume out of my clearomiser, again. Could be a case of shove it in the back of the cupboard and pray I'll never be forced to use it!!!!

I also ordered some unflavoured nic, which encouraged me to order some doublers from VK and a Mini ProTank 11, because I wanted to try a flavour that might crack a plastic clearomiser. So, today, Emerald Shot, Double Apple Shisha, Royal Blend and Gummi Bears turned up. I bought the glass mini pro tank especially for the Emerald Shot and loaded it up - omg, it's like inhaling a "choo choo bar" - if you're in my age group, you'll understand that

I've gone from being a 30 a day smoker to about 5 on average, so pretty happy with that, it a hard habit to break after 38 years, and, I look forward to progressing. Thanks for the great resources on this forum, most helpful, cheers Deb

Choo Choo Bars are back : Lollyworld, A World of Lollies and Chocolates

Mathy, I think if you like the Pootank, you'll love the Aspire regular or mini Vivi Nova style glass tanked clearos, it's much better flavor & vape experience from them IMO.

I like the looks of the Pootank II, I just think the vape from a Pootank or Pootank II is Poo.
The vape from an Aspire is as close to using a rebuildable atty like a dripper or genny as I have had from any clearo, the Pootank doesn't even come close to it.

I havent had a real close look at the aspire, so whats the difference in systems? And will you stop calling it a pootank?

    Nope, it's a Pootank
Both use bottom coil design but the Aspire has dual coils, where the Pootank has single coil, they use different replacement heads & the Aspire's head is obviously a better design because the flavor fog & TH are amazing coming out of a clearo.
Try one mate, you won't ever go back to a Pootank after trying the Aspires

Protanks are majorly overrated hey, all marketing. kanger never surprises me with an outstanding new version, they release products with too many issues with them. kanger is a total sell out.

once you get comfortable with a juice that youre going to vape all day, get yourself some boge f16's cheap and cheerful changed my vape life majorly!!! i lasted about an hour dripping, clearos for like a year cos i thought everything else would be too difficult, but man am i stoked with carto tanks. never a dry hit ever, huge tank if you want, full flavour, and that awesome crackling sound! Seriously spend $10 on a boge tank set up just to try.

carto tanks. my new hype. bit slow off the mark here......

Regarding the Aspire BDC.........can someone point me to an example (an image will suffice)? I am looking at some Aspire BDC Mini Vivi Nova with glass tanks. Are these the Aspire BDC to which you refer?

Can the coils be cleaned, rebuilt, etc.
