    reducing the throat hit

HI All I have been vaping for 4 weeks i have had the odd stinky ,but i find the e cig has more flavor . i am using a SID running 1.8 ohms coil at 8.5 watts in my clearomizer i have 28 mg nic 70/30 unflavored. i now want to reduce the throat hit . should I get some unfavored juice and mix it down, I am happy to reduce the nic level

I'd knock it down with some VG. 28mg Nic is high... and a high PG too. perhaps try it at about 50/50 between 18 and 24 mg

I agree with A1, I'm new too and mix my juice @ 24mg nic 50/50 PG/VG - too much PG causes the dreaded coughs, cheers Deb

    6.4ml unflavoured juice @ 28mg + 3.6ml plain vg = 10ml 18mg unflavoured juice

    welcome mate.

28mg is a pretty high nic level.

    Personally I'm down to 14mg, 80pg/20vg.

I agree that 18mg is a good bet for you. I think 70pg/30vg is a good blend, cos it keeps the fluid thinner (which is easier on your coils/atomisers), and pg does add a little throat hit, but it's tiny. Nic is what does the damage. Some people are sorta sensitive to pg though and you might want to test that out.

Do It Yourself E-Liquid (E-Juice) Recipe Mixing Station! is my favourite mixing calculator. It has everything from simple to complicated calculators. I would have posted filberts but it seems to be down at the moment.

    Take care.

I don't need squat for ages, i just went shopping.
$1800.61 Spent on Vaping so far, stocked up for 2 years @ 8ml/per day.
