    Charging new batteries?

I was wondering about charging new batteries.
I have read that you should charge them on your AC wall charger not just the usb charger for 8 hours for the first time then use them for 20min the back on the charger till they indicate they are charged.
Any idea's people or suggestion I want my batteries to last as long as they can.
I have 2 x 900mah EGO Passthrough Battery (Can be used whilst in charge)

As lithium batteries go, you can consider them as males. No screwing around, just feed them and when they are full they will do the work. No need to fanny aroung getting them aroused. The charging regieme you are talking about is for the old female nickle metal hydride etc. You are expected to treat them well with a little foreplay. As with all females they develop a memory, and the performance drops off quickly if you forget things, like wearing them down before charging.

Our batteries are shipped typicaly shipped with 80% charge, so a quick charge is all that you may need to bring them up to 100%

I've got thousands of ego batteries (ok, very slight exaggeration), and I've never done anything as complicated as that. They arrive, I use them, they die, I charge them. End of story.

I'm still using the ones I got with my starter kit 9mths ago, not showing any signs of waning yet.
