What are people using these days for EGO setups?

I'm still using the type B LR atty with the EGO - T 1000mah battery

I am using the black stuff, that you can also get in blue (been a while since I got some, as I have plenty now)

blue foam, black foam, I think its called.

is there much difference in throat hit, quality of vape ie no plastic taste to the vape, by using a tank, type a atty?

    any suggestions would be good.

I read too much that they leak so not really keen to try.

    any help would be appreciated

    also what is the ego-c?

    Hi Bugzy,

Have you thought of using cartomizers, or even dripping? I started out with blue foam and really enjoyed it. That was when the pyramid teabag mods were all the rage. They didn't do much for me. I moved to cartos for convenience. Now I am able to drip, I do that on my Ego with a 306 atty and I use 510 cartos on my LT.

I use kanga dual coils on my ego 650Mah battery (i rarely use it now days thou). I used to be a huge fan of the LR attys but have since moved onto carts (plus tanks) and definetly prefer it.

Hello bugzy1977. Ego-C is basically an upgraded Ego-T. Everything is the same except the atomiser is in three pieces cone, base and head (the heating part). You only need replace the head when it fails rather than the whole atomiser so cheaper to run than a Ego-T.

I used to use a B type atty on ego and I reckon the plastic taste is likely to be juice residue build up on the heater more so than the fill etc. Its been a while since I used one, but I tend to remember no plasticky taste when the atty was new, it slowly gets to that flavour.
The ego T i never really had problems with leaking, I would really only recommend it over an ego B for ease of use (to a noob) and then only if didn't leak. ease of use is gone as soon as you have to clean the fricking things though. If you are now used to the older ego attys, I would stick with them. vapor production is much the same, cleaning is easier, flavour is way down on the ego T compared to ego B attys, though ego B is not ideal either.
the ego C not used it, seems to be getting reasonable reports though.
had my missus on 510T for quite some time as she only vapes menthol, so build up is not a huge issue.
It comes down to what juices and what percentage VG you use.

Other options for ego include dripping with 306LR, boge LR cartos, tanks with various cartos in them, CE2's etc etc
    In order of useful: Provari V2 and V1, vamo, eGo twist, Katana v3, Hex, Orion v2, LavaTube, eGo x 6, VMAX, 510N, Tick V2, Tick V1, noEgo 18650, noEgo 14650 , Indulgence x 2, 905 6v mod, KR808D

I've been using an Ego-T (B) exclusivly for about six months.
The only leak I have had was when I stupidly placed the tank in the atty without the cap.

    I won't do that again.......... I hope.

Get a whole bunch of different cartos to try. Anything with a 510 thread will fit onto your batteries. Healthcabin has a great range.
