I'm curious if anyone has ever set off the smoke alarm in their house from vaping like I just did!

I ran some test when I started vaping ... to set of a good alarm you need blowing clouds right at it. certainly won't happen if you're on the couch and the alarm is 3+ metres away.

yes... several times. the solution : to close the door in the hallway where smoke alarm is and keep the lounge room and kitchen windows open.

Im guessing that the vapor probably sets off photo electric alarms more so than ionasation alarms as it sees the vapor. Where the ion alarm needs to actually smell the smoke.

One of the many reasons I decided to try vaping was so that I could do it inside, nearly half my salary goes towards rent as I live in a 3 bedroom house and I always resented the fact that I wasn't allowed to smoke inside

When I set the smoke alarm off last night I was in front of the computer a good 3 metres away from the nearest smoke alarm.

Think I might have to lower the VG %

The trick for hotel rooms is to get the shower cap out of the hygiene pack and tie it round the smoke alarm. Only cloudsbro vapers need do this.

Stealth vaping and even MTL is never a problem anywhere.
