    Coil replacements

    Hi!
I'm new to Vaping and have been using google like nobody's business!

One thing I can't seem to find is what coil replacement to get and how to replace the old coil with my particular vapmod
I have the icandy 50w vapmod by sunzip. I bought it over a year ago and am only just starting to use it now!

Can anyone help a gal out?
Let me know if you need more information - thanks!!

We really need to know what tank is on the icandy. The coils will be specific to that tank.

Usually, you unscrew the base of the tank, and then unscrew the coil from the base. There are some different designs out there though.

From what I can gather, if you have the vapmod x-tank, you can get vapmod replacement coils.

It also fits the aspire atlantis 2, or Triton coils. Do you know what resistance your coil is?

    It's a xtank 3.0!
    Does that narrow it down?

I have no idea what the resistance is, sorry!
I'm in Perth, WA so can only get them online - is there a particular product code that I can use to find it?

    Thanks!!

There are certainly other suppliers, but these will suit you well. The 1.8Ω coil at low watts (9-12w would be plenty) should suit you well.

Yes. Just because your mod is 50w, that does not mean you have to use it at 50w. The wattage is variable, and you adjust it up or down to suit the particular coil you are using, and personal taste.

There are many long term users on AVF that never go above 10-15w. There are others that enjoy 100w+. tastes differ markedly. But you should be careful when beginning, that you ease your body into this new nicotine intake method. Using low wattage, and high resistance coils is your best bet.

Oh and by the way, there are no stupid questions.......except for the one you didn't ask.

Thanks so much for your help!
Would you suggest trying a simpler vape for the mean time or basically keep the wattage low to begin with and test with each juice etc?
Also, how long would the cooks generally last (will be using as a means to quite smoking)

    Thanks!!

I think your setup should work fine (although I have no experience with either that tank or mod).

Have you read through the sticky'd threads in the new vapers forum?

It can certainly be rather daunting and overwhelming at first, trying to understand all the terminology and technical aspects. But if you read and learn, and ask questions whenever you are not sure, or don't understand, you will be giving yourself the best start to your smoke free life.

Do you already have your ejuices? Do you have good batteries and charger?
