    [WTB SYD] Steel anvil

    Hello all
After spending the last several months dealing with many people of various levels of stupidity, I have the urge to set something on fire and bash it repeatedly with a hammer, so I think it's time I got back into smithing. Looking for a hard steel anvil in serviceable condition. Preferably around the 10-20kg mark but honestly I'm not all that fussy. Can't afford a new one, so almost anything will be considered May also be interested in some tools, hardie tools etc, but again budget is an issue at the moment.

Long shot I know, but if anyone has anything like that, that they want to rehome and turn into a bit of cash, please let me know

    Thanks Steve!
Been eyeing those ones off at Orchard Hills, I've held back because they don't have a horn or hardie/pritchel holes, but I could grind em I guess. Never saw the Bunnings ones, never even thought to look there. Might even grab one of them, it won't be the worst I've ever hammered on Cheers for the heads-up. Will wait and see if anything pops up in this thread before I throw money at Bunnings

I know a rather large number of people whose heads bear an uncanny resemblance to anvils.

At least that's what I told the girl at bunnings when buying a trolley full of whammers.

At the same time, were you buying duct tape, rope, garbage bags and a spade?

    Nope. Not at all.

Not saying what I got from masters, mitre10 and home hardware though.
