WTB: WA 28g or 30g kanthal.

    Hey all,

So I've just ventured into the world of RDAs and ordered some 26g kanthal with an igo w but I can't get the resistance needed to fire it on my Innokin Svd (mech mod is on the way from fasttech) wondering if anyone has some 28g or 30g that they'd like to part with to help a brother out. I fly out to work on Friday and would dearly like to be dripping for the 2 weeks I'm up there.
Any help or suggestions on where to buy some in the next 24 hours would be greatly appreciated.

Not 100% sure but if U did about 12 wraps that should give U a high enough resistance to fire it on the svd

I've got about 9.5 meters of 26g left so it can't hurt to try, I tried 8 wraps on a 2.5mm drill bit and still only got about 0.8ohms. The coil was getting rather large at that stage haha. I'm in Perth, Northern suburbs.

Sweet, cheers Joe. Will try them out tomorrow. For anyone that's interested, I tried 12 wraps on a 2.5 mm drill bit and got exactly 1.3 ohms, works well just takes a bit too long to heat up.
