    WTB - DNA 200 squonker

Would anyone from the forum be keen to make me one? I'd reimburse for your time and materials plus beer money on top

I'd much rather that than pay some guy from Italy $4000.

I could order the DNA 200 chip in for you, or you do it, whatever is easiest

Can I ask Why? what is the attraction really?, it seems you have to rely on Lipo power with it's inherent safety issues. Assuming Chowderhead is set up to make the mods relatively easily and is charging what equates to around $800 Au that's going to be one hell of a sting, and I suppose shipping is on top of that also, ouch!
I have followed a few threads on the DNA200 but i still must be missing something.
I'm not trying to bait anyone, I am very nearly set up to make my stabilised wood mosfet squonkers after being let down by my CNC guy, my shed now sports a lathe an new Sieg mill and new Bandsaw with a router table to follow in the next few days, I could make these I suppose, but the need to make something I love and understand the value of is not making me very keen on the idea of a DNA 200 project in the future, so I'm just after your thought on Why?

I can see why if you are vaping above 75w but if you are vaping below that...ill go for J board....dna200 squonker is just too huge to hold comfortably on your hand.

For me, the DNA 200 is the best board there is currently and it also seems to handle the safety of LiPo very well. Couple that with the fact it would likely be a stay at home device and therefore doesn't need to be small makes it okay for me

Glad to hear you're getting into the DIY!

A DNA 200 squonker will be about the same size as a clay brick
