Stupid question time, have you tried changing the battery with a brand new one, I had one that was misbehaving and a battery swap with a new Samsung 25r fixed the problem I don't know why it just did.

I have one with standard size screen from the group buy last year.
Since i still haven't used it yet so i guess i should sell it.
$40 plus post if you want it.

This might be your best bet as Evolve is showing none in stock ATM and that's a pretty good price considering they are nearly double that with the exchange rate the way it is now.

I might also add that they charge you US$6 for delivery but that's sent via express snail so it takes ages to get here. Changing the board out in them is pretty simple - I did mine in about an hour after I had one that decided to become a Matrix fanboy and display a whole heap of crap on the screen YMMV though as they are pretty tight to get at the pads on. I would recommend you get a solder sucker or some desoldering wick and really take your time as it's pretty easy to bridge one of the pads if your not careful.
