bettavape.com.au - New store helping new vapers take their first steps

    Hi all,

Quick intro - I'm a vaper and have created a store specifically to help new vapers take their first steps. Like many of you, I spent countless hours reading through this awesome forum and others trying to figure out the best way to start, I've tried to create a site that makes that process easier for newbies. Please take a look https://bettavape.com.au and I'd love to hear your feedback here or e-mail us at info@bettavape.com

    OUR OFFERING

It can be pretty daunting for those new to vaping to try to understand new terms, review many many product choices, figure out what nicotine strength is right for them and what is or isn't allowed in Australia regarding nicotine use. Our bettavape matcher https://bettavape.com.au/pages/get-started matches new users to a great starter kit and recommends a nicotine strength and estimated volume of e-liquid to start with.

We have instructional videos to show people how use their starter kits and also how to safely add nicotine base to zero nicotine e-liquids. We also have basic info on vaping including the risks to be aware of, nicotine use in Australia and a handy nicotine mixing calculator.

We try not to overwhelm people by keeping things simple. No mechanical mods, variable wattage, doublers found here.

    OUR PRODUCTS

Catering for new vapers, we have a range of starter kits from Innokin and Joyetech that we know work well for those transitioning to vaping for the first time. https://bettavape.com.au/collections/starter-kits
[There are already a number of great stores in Australia offering a wide range of gear for intermediate and advanced vapers, at this stage we are mainly catering towards beginners.]

For vapers at all levels, we carry premium e-liquids that are all Diacetyl and Acetyl Propionyl free and are all made in the USA. You can check these out here https://bettavape.com.au/collections/e-liquids.
If you know of anyone manufacturing or supplying similar e-liquids in Australia we'd love to hear from you.

Thanks for reading this far. I'd like to offer a 10% discount on purchases for the first 10 customers from this forum. Discount code: AUSSIEVAPERS10%

We also have a rewards program where you can easily earn points which can be redeemed for discounts off your purchases. If you think bettavape is a good place for beginners, refer your friends and earn points. Click on the "Earn Rewards" button found top-right of our website.

    Any feedback is welcomed
    Simon

it has exactly the same result for a light smoker of 10-20 cigs per day... as a heavy smoker 20-30 per day ... 6mg nicotine in an endura t18 or Ego AIO ......hmmmm not sure that looks compelling !

Thanks for the feedback 1ynne and BrianS, I'll take a look at tweaking the ranges. I've generally tried to go on the lower/conservative end when it comes to recommending a nicotine strength.

Yep agree with you Hp88, not trying to replace this forum, just trying to streamline the process a little for getting someone to take that first step. After they've taken that first step they may decide to progress further into sub-ohming, dripping or DIY mixing and they will absolutely benefit from such a great community to get them there.

    ok.. suspending any cynicism...

    perhaps you might consider

a wider range of starter kits... some people do actually need more than a MTL type Endra 18.. which has very little air and is a hot vape
a wider range of recommended initial nicotine in juices and amount consumed in a week... it really is NOT a one size fits all 6mg and 30 mls a week nor is it purely an internet marketing exercise
actually talking to new vapers before setting up a "matching" exercise which only so far results in promoting the only kits you have for sale...

oops the cynic snuck back in

The match thing is a one size fits all answer
It's not customised at any point

The same answer comes back no matter the variables entered

Which could in some people's eyes look as though it's all a fix and nothing on the site can be taken at face value

The give away to this is the same kit with each suggestion that states good for a light smoker, it's not even as though the kits the same but the description changes

Can I ask who you were on this forum before becoming a vendor?
